RMI Participates in AICR Pink on Purpose for 3rd Year!
As many of you know, October is Breast Cancer Awareness month. On Friday, October 21st, RMI participated in the Pink on Purpose Fundraiser for the
American Institute for Cancer Research (AICR) for the third year in a row. POP is an initiative that brings Breast Cancer awareness and advocacy to the workplace, college campuses, and the community.
RMI employees showed their support by wearing pink clothing, hanging pink decorations, and sharing pink treats such as pink pancakes, pink lemonade, pink cupcakes, ribbon shaped bagels and some
pink recipes featured on AICR’s website.
A $5 donation gave you a raffle ticket and the chance to win some fabulous pink prizes! Prizes included a pick lunchbox, pink iPod accessories, a pink planner, travel mug and lots of other pink goodies!
Our raffle raised $230 for AICR! Below are the winners: Decio Tenreiro, Sanja Vanjur, Mary Dechiaro, Alan Yu, Domenica Miller, and Jackie Pufahl.
With a matching gift from RMI, the total donation raised was $1,000! The office is thrilled to be able to contribute to the cause, and look forward to participating in the event again next year.
