RMI Walks for Cystic Fibrosis Foundation and Raises $3,200!
Seven RMI employees and 8 of their friends and family members formed Team RMI for the Great Strides walk for Cystic Fibrosis on Sunday, May 22nd. It was a great day for a walk (well, we never saw the sun but at least we didn't get rained on!).
We joined a couple hundred other enthusiastic walkers at the Danbury War Memorial for the 4 mile walk. Everyone on Team RMI made it the entire way (including the pregnant woman, the baby stroller, and the 2 teenage boys who had to be dragged out of bed!).
There was plenty of fun, food, and prizes donated by Pepsi. I am proud to say we raised over $1,600 for a great cause, with RMI matching that amount!
Thanks to Alicia, Becky, Carol, Casey, Kristine, Laurie and Thea for joining my team and to the friends and families who joined them. And thanks to everyone who donated to our team and made this day such a huge success.
