RMI Holds Electronics Drive To Benefit VFW
In celebration of Memorial Day, RMI held a company electronics drive/fundraiser in an effort to keep electronics out of our landfills and give back to our client, VFW.
Throughout the month of May, employees were encouraged to drop off personal, home and office electronics they no longer need, leading up to the Friday before Memorial Day, when they were picked up by WeRecyle, a local company that breaks down electronics safely and securely.
RMI pledged a donation to VFW per electronic in honor of Memorial Day, and the company collected over 50 items! This included 10 cell phones, 2 TVs, 5 computers, 2 printers, 2 VCR’s, 4 stereos, 2 headsets, 1 camera, 3 computer mice, 2 fax machines, 1 microwave, 2 laptops, 4 keyboards, and more!
Especially around a holiday that recognizes those who have so bravely served our country, we are proud to work with and support such a wonderful organization that really makes an impact in the lives of so many veterans, service members, and their families.
